Welcome to the corporate world!!!

Just got this piece of message forwarded by my friend; very true; you will agree!

LAW OF THE JUNGLE

Two guys were hiking through the jungle when they spotted a tiger that
looked both hungry and fast. One of the guys reached into his pack and
pulled out a pair of Nike.

His friend looked at him "Do you really think those shoes are going to
make you run faster than that tiger?"

I don't have to run faster than that tiger, his friend replied. "I just
have to run faster than you".

Welcome to the corporate world!!

Chris The champ!!!

Chris,
In last 4 years we became very good friends. I still remember we first met at our office Gym and later I moved in to your group. I was always amazed by your energy, drive and passion for your work. You were always there in the office by 8AM and left for home by 9-10PM. In these 14 hours except for your evening break for swimming you were always writing code or mentoring new guys. You were always very calm and cool, You are loved as a colleague respected as manager and admired by many as a wonderful human being. I think you derived your energy from your passion for sports. You seriously pursued your hobby and I think this was and is the main fuel, which makes you keep going. As I always told you are real champ. I am
attaching your Bombay marathon experience write up

Rang de Basanti

By the emergence of Multiplexes across the country now directors are willing to experiment and I think this is a good trend. Hindi cinema with its wider audience can succeed where the regional cinema with its limited viewers failed miserably. Movies like Parineeta, Sarkar etc are the evidence of this positive evolution. These are not flawless movies but definitely in the right direction breaking those age old formula of typical bollywood masalas.

Just watched "Rang de Basanti" a neatly done movie with an excellent performance by Aamir Khan.

Probably one of the best Hindi commercial movie made in Hindi....

A three point plan for development of Bannerghatta road

Since my past seven months stay in Bangalore I get to hear tonnes of cribbing about the Bangalore traffic conditions and roads.Be it Bus stops, coffee shop, office corridor, pantry,or even office rest room this topic is a main ingradient of talks, as an icing on the cake the news papers and weekly make sure to print beautiful photos of vehicle flooded banglore roads and pot holes of different sizes and shapes not only that the rocking music radio station's beautiful radio jockey's in her sensual voice will keep you updated how badly screwed up the traffic is in different parts of city. I was kind of getting used to it and the irony is some how I felt I am unaffected. In fact I was...but not anymore. Once those gutters and undulated rough terrain like surface of Bannerghatta road was like heaven for me, there were reasons:
  1. I love biking (cycling) that too mountain biking and for me it was the fun filled adventure of biking through the rough patches to my office.

  2. What else you need if Bangalore corporation itself is providing you a rough terrain track in the heart of the city (yes you will have to believe those guys in Mountain due ad: wearing all those adventure sports gears to office, yes at least in Bangalore it stands true)

  3. For me day by day Bannerghatta road became a more realistic terrain; my biking more fun and above all committed Bangalore corporation hell bent on maintaining and preserving B.G road's uneven contours for it's beloved denizens, what else I need!!!
Fortunately or unfortunately I committed a mistake, I brought my bike down here from Pune. Now I repent why I did that…I don’t touch my motorbike on weekdays as a rule for past three years. Monday to Friday is smooth as I use my mountain bike. To my bad luck past one week my cycle is in the workshop for servicing and I need to fix a few parts. Now even thinking about going to office by my Motor Bike is a nightmare. The moment I set my bike on road for the expedition to office my blood will get hot my voice will raise and head will sweat like crazy. Apply the clutch and brake every now and d then and drive at snail’s pace and still fall in to ditches and if your reflex let you then get out of the shock and lift your head and look you wont miss this : a multicolour poster of a pig like fat politician staring at you with his Rayban glasses ( I do say the little prayer for him obviously “ F” is it’s integral part)By the time I reach my office it will be at least 45 to 50 minutes, on my cycle to cover a distance of 7 .5 KM I hardly use to take 25 minutes that too during the peak hours of traffic, with cycle you can always flip through the cluster of vehicles and believe me it is fun. I call this fun, fun because when you enjoy your ride the entire driving fraternity inside those AC cars are perpetually using those "F" words at those unknown/ unidentified targets. The entire community of politicians (including the Lefts Rights and Centres) are sure about one thing they will maintain Bannerghatta come what may they will protect this treasure “ BANNERGHATTA ROAD” as it is at any cost. Considering the amount of efforts and thoughts our politicians have put in to this beautiful infrastructure, I think as a dutiful resident I must suggest what can be the potential ROI Here it goes”
  1. Put a toll gate at Bilekahalli and open Bannerghatta road for he unique experience of cruising on cruiser jeeps

  2. Start dirt biking and soon it will become eligible to host the world championships

  3. Thus Bangalore will build world champion athletes in dirt biking, Mountain biking and Bangalore will be in the international map as a hot favourite place for adventure sports.
Good work guys Jai BDA, Jai Bangalore Mahanagara Palike!!!

Hinglish for New age Bujees!!!

Who so ever has watched Malayalam movies in 80s and early Nineties will undoubtedly agree that the quality of Malayalam movies stood right at the top compared to other Indian movies. The art cinema scene in Bengal was very rich but commercial movies didn’t carry that strength and aura.. Once hailed as the flag bearer of Indian Cinema, Malayalam film industry is on its downfall. It is limping and dragging itself as if it has Elephantiasis on its right foot… Sad and disappointed, I decided to try the movies of new age bujees -(means budhi jeevis-intellectuals) Indian-English movies and my fate landed me in “15 Park avenue “, I was shocked to see right in the junction the director was MOON WALKING. Second look I realized she was walking with Elephantiasis on both the legs..
Viewers : Please pretend to be schizophrenic; being sane is the last thing the director wants :-)
